Election Results 2024: Kangana Ranaut Wins Mandi Lok Sabha Seat: Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut, who contested as a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate, has clinched victory in the Mandi Lok Sabha seat in Himachal Pradesh, according to the latest announcement by the Election Commission of India on June 4th. Ranaut secured a significant lead over her opponent, Congress’ heavyweight Vikramadita Singh, winning by a margin of 74,755 votes. The official count revealed that Ranaut garnered 537,022 votes, while Singh trailed behind with 462,267 votes.

Another notable win for the BJP in Himachal Pradesh came from former Union Minister Anurag Singh Thakur, who secured victory in the Hamirpur seat with a substantial margin of 182,357 votes against Congress’ Satpal Raizada. Thakur emphasized that the win belonged to the people and affirmed BJP’s commitment to further development under PM Modi’s leadership.
In Himachal Pradesh, BJP emerged victorious in two seats, Mandi and Hamirpur, while leading in Kangra and Shimla Lok Sabha seats. The Election Commission’s updated tally indicated BJP-led National Democratic Alliance leading in 292 seats, with Congress-led INDI Alliance leading in 232 Lok Sabha seats.
